nDreams announces Gunner and Perfect Beach for Samsung Gear VR
Shoot spaceships, relax on the beach
Several virtual reality game announcements have surfaced following the unveiling of Samsung's Gear VR headset for the Galaxy Note 4: Land's End, Temple Run VR, Omega Agent, and more.
Now, nDreams has added two more games to that list with Gunner and Perfect Beach, projects of completely contrasting nature that both take advantage of virtual reality's diverse potential.
Gunner is an action-packed space combat sim that can be played without a controller. If you can turn your head to look at oncoming enemy ships, you can engage in virtual space battle.
VR could open the door to new ways of making games physically accessible for more players, and Gunner might be a prime example of that.
Not just that, but the graphics look pretty cool. Take a look at the trailer below.
Also announced by nDreams is Perfect Beach, which, as its name suggests, will explore the calmer side of gaming with its tropical relaxation simulation.
In Perfect Beach, you'll be able to kick back on a virtual beach while listening to your own uploaded playlists or audiobooks.
The game will also feature guided meditation for some valuable de-stressing non-action.
Both games will be available upon the launch of Gear VR later this fall.
