Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers guide for beginners

If you're someone who likes base builders and overall has a positive view of strategy games, you'll be thrilled to learn that today we're going to dive into a complete Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers guide!
What's up with the name, you might ask? Well, that's another story. You've probably always wondered what would happen if you ever got to fight alongside Titans from the Monsterverse, and the answer is... sort of? Kind of? Maybe? Not really...?
Well, it's complicated. In short, if you're here about that, you will probably be disappointed. But if you're here to learn some neat tips about this entire experience, including how you can make your base less prone to attacks, then there are plenty of things to learn and do.
Getting started
It starts with a tutorial that introduces the Titan Chasers storyline and mechanics. That's a pretty standard way for developers to give you an introduction to the most crucial parts. You can always simply skip this part but I'd recommend just playing along and letting it guide you through the main aspects. You'll also learn a little bit more about the narrative, so if you are a fan of the Monsterverse, skipping the intro and all the dialogues is not something I recommend.
- If you are a fan of Age of Empires mobile and Last Fortress: Underground, you are probably going to enjoy this one too!
Let's dive into the Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers guide then, shall we?
1
Tip #1 - Complete all your daily objectives and missions

Completing missions and daily objectives should be your priority from the very start, not only at the early stages of the game, but especially then. If you are serious about progressing, do not skip this step.
The reason it's so important is that doing that will help you build your base, but you will also earn resources, experience, and other valuable items from the free Explorer Pass. If you are thinking about topping up, getting the premium (Elite) Explorer Pass should be on your radar.
Is it worth getting the premium pass?
The rewards from the Elite Explorer Pass are pretty nice. They are going to help you quite a bit, and for the price point, it's worth it if you have some pocket change. I don't think it's necessary to go P2W straight up, but as a base builder where everything matters, the pass will play its part.In conclusion, getting the premium pass is worth it - if you can afford it!

Tip #2 - Learn proper resource management

Outpost buildings generate resources such as food, energy, metal, wood, and tech. Warehouses protect resources from enemy attacks. You can gather resources by sending out your units on the world map, but you can also request resources or complete tasks and challenges through your alliance. These resources are necessary for construction, upgrades, and training units.
Stamina is used for Expedition battles in campaign mode, and fuel is used for tasks on the world map.
You should always be mindful of your resources, and spend them for the upgrades you need the most first. Prioritise your HQ over anything else, and make sure your warehouses are expanded. The more you can keep in your warehouses, the better it is (from a safety perspective, in case you get attacked).

Tip #3 - Upgrade your Headquarters as often as possible

As a new player, you want to focus on building and upgrading structures. Pretty much whatever you can upgrade, you should upgrade. This is very important since once you make some upgrades, you will start getting more and more much-needed resources. You can then use these resources to build more structures and expand your base. It's all connected.
Try to upgrade your headquarters whenever you have what's needed to do so because it's the most important structure of your operations. By doing this, you get to unlock new sectors and of course, expand your base.
Also, don't forget to clear debris whenever you can. This is an easy way to get additional resources. Even though it's not a lot, these rewards add up, especially over time.

Tip #4 - ALWAYS upgrade your Research Lab

By upgrading your research lab, you will get access to new technologies. There are different categories and sections, such as army bonuses, resource production, or building speeds, but I recommend you start researching paths like "Battle" or "Army" Training as soon as possible to boost your squad's combat power.
Also, whatever boosts your production speed or helps you improve your building speed are technologies you should consider researching ASAP.
As a side note, make sure you're always researching something. Don't let the Research Lab idle, especially before closing the game for the day.

Tip #5 - Craft some decent gear

Crafting gear in the Crafting Workshop enhances your Chasers’ stats using Tech Resources (from the map, missions, or Research Center) and Gear Fragments or Blueprints (from events, raids, or alliances).
You can craft weapons, armour, or accessories to boost your stats (attack, defence, or stamina). Of course, higher-tier items need more materials and sometimes Hollow Earth Crystals to unlock. As a beginner, you should craft low-tier gear early on.
It's going to make a huge difference between having no gear and having even the bare minimum ones (or the noob ones). Until you can get some better-rated, rarer gear, just make sure you use something (even if it's not ideal).

Tip #6 - Upgrade Chasers and Monsters

In Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers, making your team better involves upgrading both Chasers and Monsters. This is crucial for progressing through the campaign mode. You can access your team roster through the Chaser quarters and the Monster Biodome.
How to get XP
You can acquire XP through gameplay or Hollow Earth crystal purchases and use it to increase a character or monster's stats. The higher the level of your unit, the more XP will be needed for the next level. Once a character reaches its maximum level, you'll need to rank them up using specific shards and resources. For monsters, the Orca M device plays a vital role in ranking up and unlocking their full potential. Upgrading this device not only expands the maximum level capacity of your monsters but also boosts their damage, armour, and health.
When you reach a point where you cannot continue in the campaign mode anymore due to lack of power (a.k.a. you can't beat the level), just take a break, continue doing your dailies, and eventually, you'll be able to make the necessary upgrades to continue.

Tip #7 - Join an active Alliance

Even if you are more of a solo player, joining an alliance in Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers is especially important (even more so as a F2P player). Alliance members can help each other by sharing resources, which is super important to continue developing your base.
Well, there's more.
Once you join a strong alliance, you will be able to tackle challenging monster raids and encounters together with the other Alliance mates. These battles will reward you with valuable loot which is always super nice (especially if you feel like you're falling behind).
Also, the alliance provides protection against enemy attacks and controls landmarks on the world map, providing buffs and territory points.
