Go Go Wolf! brings fast-paced, Survivors-like idle RPG action to mobile

• Go Go Wolf! is out now for iOS and Android
• It sees you playing Rang, a young woman transformed into a werewolf
• Farm offline, or jump in and guide Rang using skills to transform and take on hordes of enemies

If you're a frequent reader (and why wouldn't you be?), you may recall back in June that we covered the adorable survivors-like Go Go Wolf! And if you were caught by the anime-style designs, fast-paced Survivors-like gameplay and general concept, then you're in luck. Because Go Go Wolf! has just released on iOS and Android.

In Go Go Wolf!, you take on the role of Rang, a young woman suddenly transformed into a werewolf. Fortunately, this is less The Wolfman and more Spice & Wolf. But either way, Rang is now the world's strongest warrior, and with that comes the responsibility of slicing and dicing evil to bloody bits!

Go Go Wolf! seems to mix the tenets of the Survivors-like and idle RPGs, as you guide Rang around the map while she slices apart enemies. You'll also be able to swing the tide of battles by transforming into your werewolf form and using limited skills to thin out the hordes of enemies trying to destroy you.

Wolves all around

Go Go Wolf! sells itself on having a full mixture of all the genre mechanics we might expect. But I admit it's not altogether clear how much inspiration has been taken from the Survivors genre, and without the ability to interfere directly with the flow of battle beyond simple skill tapping, it may suffer.

That being said, if you're simply looking for a way to enjoy the fun of rising numbers and continue grinding even while offline, Go Go Wolf! is almost certainly for you.
