Glyder 2 swoops onto iPhone

Without blowing my own trumpet too much, I was the person to announce Glyder 2. Nothing particularly to do with me. I was merely Glu Mobile's vessel in the process.

Still, it's nice to be able to also announce that Glyder 2 is now live on the App Store.

The sequel to the high regarded flying adventure of Eryn, it appears to do everything you want a sequel to do in terms of fixing the mistakes of the past and bringing more excitement for the future.

Or as Tracy said in his hands on:

"It's an enormous environment ... A gargantuan set of cliffs that open near the finale take Eryn to an altitude that far surpasses the tallest peak in the first game."

New features include speed run missions, objective-based challenge missions, and the customisation of Eryn's wing set and clothing.

The latter will be supported with free content updates, as well as new levels and challenges. Yes, we're looking forward to this one.
