Galcon Legends's message of conquest will be disseminated on iPad and iPhone this Thursday

The original Galcon came out in 2008. You know, back in the early days of the App Store, when everything was new and shiny, and we weren't as jaded and full of anger as we are now. I wasn't, anyway.
We really liked that original Galcon experience, though, giving it a Silver Award and calling it an "innovative space game with simple controls and deep strategy."
So, you can imagine how excited we are that a sequel is finally on course for the App Store and will beam down to iPad and iPhone on February 6th.
If you take a quick look at the trailer below, you'll detect the similarities between Galcon Legends and its predecessor.
You will control a planet and its armada, and need to spread out across the level, capturing new planets in a simple tug of war RTS battle.
The game definitely looks highly polished. There's a story here about conquering evil and being a corporate bill writer wrapped around the massive triangular battles, too.
We're not sure how much Galcon Legends is going to cost when it surfaces on the App Store, but we'll keep you updated on this as soon as we hear anything.
Oh, and there is an Android version in the works. Right now, though, there's no concrete release date attached to it. Again, we'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything else about that.
