Galaxy on Fire iPhone gets update and Lite edition

In an effort to keep the galaxy burning at full heat, Fishlabs is readying a Lite version of Galaxy on Fire for the iPhone’s App Store, along with a new update to the full version.

The Lite version isn’t just going to be a demo, however. The survival mode of Galaxy on Fire, which concentrates the game on its intensive shoot-‘em-up features, will be included in its entirety. This should be a great taster for those who then want to pay up and play the full story mode as mercenary Keith T. Maxwell.

Galaxy on Fire clearly stands out from the multitude of games in the App Store. We have received a great deal of praise, but also criticism from the player community,” says Michael Schade, CEO of Fishlabs. “We have embraced this criticism and created an extensive update for the full version. Together with the free Lite version, we hope to gain even more fans for Galaxy on Fire.”

As Galaxy on Fire Lite is launched, the full version will receive an update providing a few bug fixes, adjustable difficulty level, a reduced memory footprint, reduced loading times and several other gameplay tweaks.

The new additions to Galaxy on Fire are expected early next week, so keep the App Store in your sights.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
