Announced for the PlayStation 3 earlier this year, Folklore is an intriguing dark fantasy adventure inspired by western fairy tales set in the mysterious town of Doolin that serves as a gateway to fantastic realms full of creatures, spirits and monsters.

If this sounds like fun - and it should because it's being developed by Game Republic under the supervision of Yoshiki Okamoto, executive producer for Devil May Cry, Onimusha and Resident Evil - then prepare to rejoice, because a PSP version is in the works. A Sony executive confirmed as much to Kikizo.

We'll hopefully have more on this from Leipzig (where the PS3 version is being shown).
