One of the hottest games on the iPhone, Flight Control from code maestros Firemint, has only just received an update that shunted it to the front of the queue of apps circling the iTunes list, and now it's just got another one.

Flight Control has gone multiplayer, allowing two tin pushers to work together in the virtual air traffic control tower through peer-to-peer connectivity.

In a similar fashion to a real control tower, you must land you own planes while pushing the other aircraft off screen and onto your colleague's radar.

Flight Control recently clocked up 1 million sales, and with another major update like this one, Firemint's undoubtedly on its way to becoming the first developer to break the 2 million games sales mark.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
