If you'd like to know more, turn to paragraph 5.

The Forest of Doom is Tin Man Games's third digital Fighting Fantasy book, following on the heels of Blood of the Zombies and House of Hell. In the slightly more standard fantasy setting of this adventure, you have to retrieve the missing pieces of a fabled hammer.

Fighting Fantasy: The Forest of Doom has already been available for a week on Android, but now iOS gamers get the chance to roll some digital dice and find out whether or not they've managed to stab an orc in the face.

In terms of new additions in this latest gamebook, there's a mapping system that tracks your progress and reminds you which turns lead to death and which ones to riches.

If you fancy getting your boots dirty in a nostalgic old forest full of terrors and unexpected traps, you can grab Fighting Fantasy: The Forest of Doom for £3.99 / $5.99 from the App Store right now.
