HandyGames has broken from its recent tradition of putting the player in the role of the villain (or amoral man-eating shark in the case of Shark or Die) with its latest game to hit mobile networks, Farm Invasion USA.

Instead of playing the invading, popcorn-obsessed aliens, this time you’re in charge of Redneck Pops’s two good-for-nothing sons as they attempt to keep the alien invasion at bay using nothing but a family heirloom – a combine harvester - and a wide range of weaponry kept on the property for ‘self defence purposes only’.

There are twelve levels to blast through and a ‘windscreen wiper’ effect for wiping away the copious amounts of alien blood, which sounds pleasant.

Farm Invasion USA should be arriving on mobile networks across the globe soon, and we’ll have a review up of the title in the forthcoming weeks.
