French publisher Gameloft has just released its first ever game "designed just for girls" in the form of iPhone and iPad build-'em-up Fantasy Town.

The colourful title charges you (providing you're a girl, obviously) with constructing your very own fantasy abode, filling it with stout dwarves and mystical fairies, and raising a selection of "magic" plants.

Your town's inhabitants can help you along the way by digging up treasure and tending to your fields, but there's also plenty for you to do, such as complete quests, compile collections, and keep your population happy.

Naturally, you can bring your friends, foes, and the rest of your Facebook Friend Lists along for the ride, trade items, and visit your buddies' best creations.

Fantasy Town is available on the App Store (if you're a girl, remember) as a Universal app for free.
