CES 2011: Fable: Coin Golf teed up for Windows Phone 7
Shuffleboard-like spin-off lets you earn gold for your Fable III hero
Fable: Coin Golf was announced as an exclusive for Windows Phone 7 during Microsoft's annual keynote at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas Wednesday.
The spin-off allows you to earn extra gold for your Fable III hero by sinking coins in miniature golf courses.
While the announcement is short on details, the first image of the game depicts what appears to be shuffleboard-like gameplay where you slide a finger to shoot a coin toward the goal.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer confirmed the ability to transfer gold winnings to your Fable III, but didn't go into detail about how that will work or how the game plays.
Fable: Coin Golf will be available for Windows Phone 7 handsets; no release date or price has been set.
