Exos Heroes hits 5 million downloads ahead of its Summer Festa event beginning

Exos Heroes, LINE Games' latest RPG, initially launched back in May for both iOS and Android where it had 1.5 million pre-registers. Interest in the game has definitely grown since then as it now stands at 5 million downloads.

To celebrate hitting this landmark 50 days after the game was released players will be able to grab themselves free Recruits daily from 24th to 26th July. But that's not all either, if players log into Exos Heroes before 2nd September they'll receive five-star Hero Bernadette for free.

Elsewhere, LINE Games has announced the details for its upcoming Summer Festa event that will unsurprisingly run throughout the summer. Starting from today there will be a login bonus each day until 22nd July that will net players a mixture of Xes, Gold, Levistones and more.

There will also be 7 Summer Festa Fate Cores added to the game as well, which can you see in the embedded video above. Of course, this is an anime-styled game so you probably already know to expect a bunch of fan service beach outfits for an event based around that season.

There will also be a social campaign based on these new Fate Cores too, with players being encouraged to share screenshots of them until August 27th. From there a number of rewards will be given out based on how many people took part.

If you're unfamiliar with Exos Heroes, it's a gacha RPG where you'll assemble a team from a roster of over 200 different characters. The turn-based battles largely centres around players looking to break their opponents, which is a system that will leave enemies stunned for a few turns when certain attack types are used on them.

Exos Heroes is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
