Epic Games introduces Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead and Idle Champions loot for free

As we head into the weekend it seems only fitting we once more cover the top new free releases from the Epic Games Store. Available on Android and iOS (at least in the EU) these are free to download and keep, and this time around Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead and Astarion's Champions of Renown Pack are up for grabs!
As you might expect from the name, Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead offers a humorous take on the format of both. But the challenge is very real as you construct bridges over which survivors must escape, while also setting traps to delay and destroy the Walkers pursuing them.
Meanwhile, Astarion's Champions of Renown Pack for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms offers a whole host of rewards. Be that a Flumph familiar, unlocks for your favourite champions, an exclusive skin with the Tuxedo Kalix and other goodies. While it may not be a full release on its own, this pack offers a huge boost.
I admit, I was a little bit disappointed to see one of the free releases was a booster pack (however jam-packed) for Idle Champions. At the same time, I can certainly see the appeal, and Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead offers much of the fun of that franchise coupled with the additional challenge of, well, zombies.
And as I've said before, it'll be interesting to see what new free releases hit mobile from Epic Games. Is this marketing technique going to succeed in swaying players where on PC it faltered? We'll have to wait and see.
