12B3 Games has announced an upcoming 2D deckbuilding game titled EndCycle VS, coming soon to Android devices and on Steam on April 20th. The deckbuilding fighting game lets players put their abilities to the test in progressively difficult levels across grid-based pixel-art battles.

In EndCycle VS, players can enjoy nine years of development as the studio's labour of love comes alive in both single and multiplayer modes. It boasts challenging roguelite gameplay to keep things fresh with each new play session, along with a deep storyline and a fun online multiplayer experience.

Players can enjoy twenty unique fighters as they explore the engaging narrative across the world of Anikka. Of course, players will take on the huge responsibility of saving the world from the might of ancient gods that have awakened from their sleep. And if you're eager to craft your own content, you can use the Creative Centre to develop your own maps, mods and characters as well.

The game supposedly appeals to fans of One Step From Eden and Mega Man Battle Network, as well as Slay The Spire. It also features cross-play functionality between Android devices and PC versions. “We are proud to say that after 9 years of developing EndCycle VS we still have fun discovering exciting new ways to play the awesome mix of deckbuilding, fighting and intense multiplayer action that makes the game unique," says 12B3.

If you're eager to give it a go and see for yourself, you can check out EndCycle VS on the Google Play Store or add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
