NIS America has finally revealed the European release date for its side-scrolling, Gold Award-winning hack 'n' slash RPG Dragon's Crown.

The game will be available on European shop shelves and on the EU PSN on October 11th.

Anyone who pre-orders a physical copy of the game from European retailers will receive an exclusive art book featuring pictures of ridiculously chested Amazons and pin-headed warriors.

When we reviewed the US version of Dragon's Crown, we called it "deeper, more developed, and more engaging than your average beat-'em-up".

We also stated that it represents "a welcome addition to both the genre and the Vita game library".

Dragon's Crown boasts more than 20 hours of gameplay on the Normal difficulty setting, and plenty more if you like replaying things.

Unfortunately, Dragon's Crown doesn't support Sony's Cross Buy initiative. So, if you want a copy of the game for your Vita AND your PS3, you're going to have to fork out twice.

Dragon's Crown is definitely one to look out for, though, and we're all pretty chuffed that it's finally heading to European shores.
