Dragon Spira’s story begins a thousand years after the Divine forged the world and created six Spirit Beasts. Though born to protect and prosper, these beings rebelled and were punished, sealed away in egg form and locked inside a volcanic prison.
With the Divine vanished, humanity was left behind to survive using the Divine Sword and a mysterious Seed of Hope. Now, as fate stirs once more, you take on the role of a new hero navigating a world shaped by these forgotten myths.
Dragon Spira leans hard into nostalgia, with pixel-style visuals and familiar battle mechanics, but adds some distinct systems along the way. Character growth plays out across a board game-like roulette, where your steps shape your stats and unlock potential.
Jobs are fully customisable, allowing you to mix and match roles as you see fit, while Wonder Skills give you powerful techniques to turn the tide in battle. You’ll also raise a Spirit Beast companion that evolves as the story unfolds, helping to tie together narrative and gameplay progression.
