Glu Games is probably best known for free-to-play iPhone, iPad, and Android games like Bug Village, Small Street, and Tavern Quest - all of which boast cutesy average-ish graphics.

That may be about to change.

The California-based company has just released a new freemium title called Dragon Slayer on the Canadian App Store, and it's packing some seriously impressive visuals. Check out the screenshots in our gallery if you don't believe us.

Gameplay-wise, the title tasks you with wiping out all manner of fire-breathing dragons using a variety of magical spells, armour, and a little bit of good luck. It appears to be similar to Infinity Blade.

We'll be sure to let you know when Glu announces a UK or US release date for Dragon Slayer.
