Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker's March to UK release

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker's March to UK release

The Dragon Quest series has always been something of a Japanese-only delight with few of its games released in the West. 2006's lovely RPG Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime didn't even get a Euro release despite there being a US English version.

Still at least Square Enix confirmed that Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, the latest in the series, would finally be released in the UK during 2008, a date now confirmed as March 14th.

The 3D game features both a single player quest and an online competition in the form of a Wildcard World Cup, playable against users in both North America and PAL regions. It sold over a million copies within four weeks of being on sale in Japan, quite a achievement by anyone's standards.
