| Dragon City

At this gamehub, we try and help you with every step of progress in Dragon City and here we take a closer look at building upgrades and particularly what an upgrade does, why you should upgrade, and when.

Upgrading a building can be done once you've reached a certain level requirement which differs per building and building level.

However, when you should upgrade depends on the type of building. Let's begin by taking a look at the Habitat and the Food Farm.

Habitat

A habitat should only be upgraded once it's full and you're planning on breeding a suitable dragon.

An upgraded habitat allows double the previous amount of dragons to reside there and, as a result, produces more gold.

Food Farm

A level one Food Farm is sufficient if you have a few low level dragons.

Once your Food Farms are struggling to churn out enough food, you'll need to upgrade them to access higher level food.

If most of your dragons are on or over level four and you have more than five dragons, then it's a good time to upgrade your Food Farm.
