Draconia Saga guide - Tips about Drakites and gameplay

Once you start playing Draconia Saga, there's quite literally no stopping. There is so much content to clear, and so many events to take part in, that it's bringing back memories from the days I used to play MMORPGs with my friends. To make things more enjoyable, I created this Draconia Saga guide that will help give you a hand understanding it early on, including all the little things you need to do so you can progress steadily.
I've always been a huge fan of MMORPGs, and when they're as adorable as Draconia Saga, it offers more incentive to get me to play it daily. So, if you want to know all the things you should be doing once you start (to catch up with the top-ranking players), all you have to do is keep reading!
Understand that playing as a F2P is not the easiest
One of the very first things I feel like I need to mention is that if you do decide to play Draconia Saga as a F2P player, it is not going to be an easy journey. It's more or less designed with a little bit of spending budget in mind, and that is if you want to reach the top.
Of course, you can enjoy it as a F2P experience (like pretty much any other game), but increasing your power is going to be a little bit of a struggle at times. You will need to do everything by the book and spend a lot of time, so if that's something you have, then you won't face a lot of issues.
That said, I strongly recommend you claim the latest codes for Draconia Saga because regardless of whether you're F2P or P2W, they're going to come in handy. The rewards from these codes are usually pretty good, so try not to miss a single one.
And without further ado, let's dive right into the Draconia Saga guide!
1
Tip #1 - How to increase your power

The first and most important thing you need to do in Draconia Saga if you want to have a good run is to increase your BR as much as humanly possible. You can do that in a number of ways, but most of them won't give you a major increase.
Features that increase your BR are:
- Class
- Gear
- Drakite
- Pogley
- Minion (increases DR)
To upgrade each of these, you can simply tap on the + next to your BR (Found next to your profile icon) and there you can go ahead and tap on each of these options. You will see roughly how well you've done so far, since next to each feature, it will tell you if your current upgrade is "super" or just "fine" (or worse).
I recommend you do everything (dailies, dungeons, levelling) and upgrade your skills at all times. As for the gear, it is going to be a bit complicated so I leave it for the next point.
Your goal should always be to reach a "good" rating on everything. Ideally, you want to max everything out, but for players who are just at the beginning.

Tip #2 - Always equip (and upgrade) your best gear

You should equip the gear with higher ratings than the ones you already have, whenever you get something new. You can get equipment in a number of ways, so I recommend clearing all the content that grants you gear every day and joining in boss fights. From there, you can also get your hands on exclusive gear, which is usually better than what you get from the main quests.
Make sure you complete all your Dragon Hunter missions to get a lot of points so you can exchange them for proper rings. These will give you a pretty big increase in BR too, so that's another plus.
My suggestion: Another tip that goes hand in hand with the gear is to buy every week all the materials you need to further enhance your gear (such as Forging Star). There is a weekly limit to these materials, so aim every week to get enough currency to get them.

Tip #3 - Take care of your Pogleys every day!

The Pogley is a companion that will give you additional BR and help in battle. You can upgrade your Pogley in many ways, from upgrading their skills (Weapon tab) or their skills.
The skills you equip depend entirely on you, so make sure the ones you unlock for them are right for the Pogley you play with.
You can swap the Pogley you use at all times until you find a good synergy between them (since you can deploy multiple). I also suggest you feed them daily since they will give you additional benefits if their bellies are full.
There are a lot of things you can do to benefit them, so don't forget about that too. I know, it's a lot of content to keep up with!

Tip #4 - Focus on the main story, but don't neglect the side quests

It's a good idea to start by focusing all your time and energy on the main story. Draconia Saga has an incredibly long and comprehensive main quest, so until you reach the end game, this is where most of your time will go.
There are also side quests you can complete for additional EXP and rewards, so make sure you do as many of these as you can. There's a lot of running around you'll need to do, but there is so much content that you'll rarely ever get bored completing any of it.
The takeaway?Do all of your dailies, focus on the main story, and try to complete as many side quests as you can. All of these little tasks will slowly make you stronger. When you can no longer pass a certain stage (say, you have to kill a boss and you just can't because it kills you), then take a break, focus on increasing your BR by doing some additional content, and try again!

Tip #5 - Always equip your best Drakites

Drakites not only give you additional BR but also specific benefits. You will have multiple pages to deploy Drakites, and I recommend that you always summon new ones whenever possible (with tickets only).
The Drakites you should deploy are the SSR ones, and once you deploy some, make sure you also upgrade them as much as you can. Don't overthink about which ones you should deploy at the beginning since you can change them at any time. For now, just focus on deploying the maximum number you can because they'll make you a lot stronger.
Later on, when you have a better understanding of what each one gives you, you can go ahead and swap them out.

Tip #6 - Explore the world!

There are countless chests and interesting things to discover all throughout the Draconia Saga. You should try to keep your eyes open for all of them because if you simply auto-path to the next quest in the chain, you'll end up missing out.
All the chests give you great rewards, such as Lazulites and summon tickets even, so in the long run, it'll help you get stronger!
I also noticed quite a few "secret interactions" throughout the map, so my suggestion would be to not only stay laser-focused on the main quest but also keep an eye open to everything else happening around you. The game is made to be enjoyed, and there's just so much content to enjoy!

Tip #7 - More tips and tricks for Draconia Saga!

Since the game is so incredibly comprehensive, here are a few more short (and sweet) tips to keep you going:
- Don't forget to pick crystals - these break a boss' DEF.
- If you're still at the beginning, remember you must reach level 10 to use summon tickets.
- You should log in every day so you don't miss a single day of rewards.
- Depending on the server you play on, there is a max level you can reach. All the extra EXP is stored until the new level cap is released, so don't panic if you've reached the max level for your server. Just wait until the cap is raised and the EXP will count.
- I strongly recommend spending your first Lazulites on increasing your storage space. Scroll down in the Inventory until you reach the last spot, then tap on the very last slot. That will tell you how much Lazulite you need to spend to unlock it all. You can unlock it gradually too - just make sure you do unlock it!
- Save your Lazulite. This is a currency used for A LOT of the game's content, and you don't want to spend it on just about anything. Try to spend it on weekly shop refreshes that give you materials used to get stronger.
- Join a decent Brigade. This is the equivalent of a guild, so you can play alongside players who have the same interests as you!
