Pair matching games don't seem like the most exciting entertainment in the world, but it's really all about context.

DoubleTake!, the new game from Retro Dreamer, the developer behind Sneezies and Eyegore's Eye Blast, takes the basic gameplay mechanic and changes it according to the four different modes available.

Basic mode is ultra relaxed and simple, as you just have to match the entire board of tiles. There's a leaderboard and achievements to record and compare your best times and the lowest number of moves, provided by OpenFeint

Sprint mode is the super fast mode, where you get one minute to match as many pairs as you can and scores are based on speed.

Timed mode offers a slightly less frantic option, but still gives you a time limit to keep you on your toes.

In Survival mode you'll lose health points for mismatches and gain them for fresh matches, but there's no time pressure.

You can see how DoubleTake! plays in the following video.
