The legendary roguelike card-based dungeon crawler Dominion has received its 15th expansion since launching on mobile devices. This new content, titled Plunder, is based around of course plundering the high seas and retrieving all sorts of new loot. With forty new Kingdom card piles and an assortment of new Traits amongst other content, there’s a lot on offer here!

For those unaware, Dominion is a longtime staple within the card-based roguelike genre. One might even say it invented the genre, though it was originally created as a tabletop game that you could play either alone or with friends. The game is all about collecting a ton of treasure and upping your score through the things you collect, though the mechanics obviously run a lot deeper than that.

With over 15 expansions, it’s one of the most beloved within the card game genre, and there’s a ton of stuff to experience. Now, with the Plunder expansion, there’s even more stuff on the table for you to make your way through.

Based on the idea of sailing the seven seas, Plunder will see you collecting an absolute boatload of new loot, as well as introducing those previously mentioned forty new Kingdom card piles as well as new Loot, a new type of Treasure, new Traits that modify your piles, and Durations that will stay in play for an extended period of time.

Basically, much like every other Dominion expansion, there are a lot of new mechanics to learn your way around, and all of them can interact with the other 14 expansions as well. So, if you're a diehard fan who has collected all of these releases, there’s just an absurd amount of content to check out, and Plunder makes that even better.

If all of that sounds good to you, check out Dominion at either of the links below! Currently, this new expansion is in beta testing for Android players, and Apple players will have to wait just a little longer to give the new stuff a go.
