Doctor Who idle game in the works lets you explore the Who-niverse in a different way on mobile
East Side Games Group, in partnership with BBC Studios, has just announced a new and yet untitled Doctor Who game on mobile. The game set in the Who-niverse will be an idle-genre mobile title, and will be a free-to-play narrative adventure.
The untitled Doctor Who game will be the first in the idle genre under the popular IP. It will not only make the Who-niverse more immersive for fans of the franchise, but it will also let players dive into new and classic narratives as well as explore characters from the IP.
“Doctor Who has been capturing the imaginations of people for almost 60 years and we couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to bring this legendary franchise to mobile,” says Darcy Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of ESGG. “This agreement with BBC Studios allows us to bring a truly iconic, globally-recognized franchise to an enduring fan base of new and diehard fans and further strengthens our ‘Super Marquee’ game publishing portfolio.”
