Desert Fox: The Battle of El Alamein has just rolled onto the New Zealand App Store, which means the historical strategy title should be hitting the UK at midnight tonight.

The game, from Shenandoah Studio, is a turn-based recreation of the turning point of the battle for North Africa in World War 2, and features just as much detail and depth as we've come to expect from Shenandoah.

There's a massive campaign, two stand alone scenarios, and local and online multiplayer for you to sink your teeth into.

And on top of that there's a vast swathe of historical information that lets you find out more about the actual battle.

When the game hits the UK later tonight it'll set you back £5.99 / $8.99. It's a pretty big price, but it's a pretty big game as well.
