THQ Wireless brings de Blob game to iPhone

| de Blob (iPhone)

THQ Wireless has launched its first iPhone game. It's called de Blob, and it's a conversion of the upcoming DS, mobile and Wii puzzler.

The idea is the same. The evil I.N.K.T. Corporation has declared all colour illegal, reducing Chroma City to a grey wasteland (i.e. Croydon).

Your job, as de Blob, is to bounce around the city rolling through paint puddles and then splurting it all over the buildings, restoring Chroma City to its former colourful glory.

All this, while defeating 'inky' soldiers who try to hamper you. We loved the mobile game when we had a go on a preview version earlier this year, so the omens are good for iPhone – as long as the controls are well adapted.

de Blob is out now for the iPhone, and costs £5.99 £3.99 (they dropped the price since this was first written). Click here to go directly to its App Store product page.
