Dark Nebula - Episode Two slides onto iPhone

Addictive ball-rolling adventure Dark Nebula, from the tragically named 1337 Game Design, has a sequel now available on the iPhone App Store. A follow up to the October 2009 released game, Episode Two promises to feature twice the content of its predecessor.

Dark Nebula - Episode Two has you tilting and banking your device as a shiny metal puck slides around the environment, hopefully avoiding traps, nuisance enemies and perilous drops.

The designer, Anders Hejdenberg (who cut his teeth on console games like Battlefield 2: Modern Combat), describes the game as “a labyrinth game, but on steroids”.

The game packs in 25 completely new obstacles and enemies to avoid. They're seen in 19 stages, set in six environments that run the gamut from lush jungle to barren wasteland. With the first game game offering up an hour of play, this “twice as long” adventure should give you a good couple of hours of play.

It’s also got a combat system, so you can fight back instead of meekly sliding away from foes. You can show off your might, and your speediness, on the game’s global leaderboards and Facebook integration.

Dark Nebula - Episode Two is available now for iPhone and iPod touch, for 59p / 99c / €0.79.
