As television franchises goes, CSI is hugely lucrative. It's spreading its spin-offs so far and wide, it's only a matter of time before CSI: Southend is lighting up our screens. Possibly.
Gameloft has opted for more glamorous climes for its first mobile CSI game, with the upcoming release of CSI: Miami. Featuring all the stars from the show, it sees you investigating the mysterious death of a young woman on South Beach.
You'll be checking out crime scenes, conducting autopsies, interrogating suspects, and wondering why this all sounds so familiar, until you remember a Gameloft game from last year called Special Crime Unit: Blood On Campus.
Yes, the publisher clearly did such a good job with that impressive CSI-inspired title, that the TV bigwigs let it have a crack at the actual brand. Judging by the screenshots, it's an updated version of the same game engine.
