Return to the crypt

- The cult-classic Crypt of the Necrodancer is coming to Crunchyroll
- Subscribers of the requisite level can download it now on the iOS App Store or Google Play
- DLC, cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are slated to come later this year
Anime streaming service Crunchyroll, which recently joined Netflix in bringing games to mobile, has announced that the cult-classic rhythm action game Crypt of the Necrodancer is out now on mobile. Subscribers to Crunchyroll can go ahead and download it now on either the iOS App Store or Google Play!
Crypt of the Necrodancer sees you take on the role of Cadence, the daughter of a treasure hunter who goes missing in the titular crypt. In your quest to reunite with you're favour you'll need to move to the beat of an original soundtrack, timing your strikes and movements with the rhythm in order to avoid being hit and to attach your opponent in turn.
Crypt, which is getting an upcoming sequel that goes all-in on the rhythm with Rift of the Necrodancer, was previously available on iOS all the way back in 2016. But this release not only comes on Android as well but is also packaged with additional content like remixes and Danganronpa character skins.

As for DLC like the Hatsune Miku character (yes, really) and the Synchrony expansion, those are slated to be released later this year. And not just those, but also cross-platform multiplayer and mod support!
Crypt of the Necrodancer is an award-winning cult classic for a reason, so we really shouldn't need to tell you that it's worth a go. So if you've got the requisite Crunchyroll subscription, go give it a play!
