Carol Vorderman's Mind Aerobics goes multiplayer

Plus nine other Player X games, thanks to Terraplay deal

Carol Vorderman's Mind Aerobics goes multiplayer

We liked Carol Vorderman's Mind Aerobics, and such are our ninja brain-skills we've been wishing we could test them against people around the world.

Well whaddya know? The game's publisher Player X has signed a deal with multiplayer gaming firm Terraplay to create, yes, a connected version of Carol's think-'em-up.

It'll be the first of ten Player X games to use Terraplay's Global Gaming Network. The second will be a casual puzzler called Mind Games, which will offer more brain-training fun.

Both games will include a competition mode, which automatically submits your scores to Terraplay's server, letting you see just how clever you really are compared to other mobile gamers. There'll be a global competition, as well as local leagues for individual countries or even operators.

As you'll know if you read our recent interview, T-Mobile UK has signed a deal with Terraplay to sell games using the Global Gaming Network, while 3 UK also uses the platform – so expect to see the Player X games popping up on both soon.
