Update: Onipunks replied and told us that an iOS version will likely be added to the Kickstarter as a stretch goal. The original story follows.

Sometimes it's difficult to decide on whether you want to play a rougelike adventure, a grid-based RTS game, or a tower defence title.

Thanks to the cyberpunk world of C-Wars, you'll be able to play all three types of games all in the same, pixelated package.

Also, you'll be fighting zombies, druglords, and corrupt military officials on the moon. What's not to like here?

The fact that C-Wars isn't out yet, that's what - but hopefully its Kickstarter campaign will change that.

Bang, zoom!

Set in a post-apocalyptic moon colony, the focus of C-Wars isn't simply on its real-time strategy or immersive storytelling. Instead, it's on letting you - the player - determine how best to play the game.

With a nod to the roguelike, the decisions you make in C-Wars will influence how the game unfolds, leading to a different game experience each time you play.

What remains unchanged in each playthrough, however, is the unique combat system that blends elements of real-time strategy, action RPG fighting, and tower defence tactics into an innovative, grid-based system.

Currently, the Kickstarter for C-Wars is on track to be funded as it's raised $12,000 of its $32,000 goal with 29 days left to go. If successfully funded, it will be released for Android, PC, Mac, and Linux.

We've contacted the developers, Onipunks, to see if they're planning an iOS release as well. In the mean time, you can check out a playable demo of C-Wars here.
