Too many mobile games smack of social conformity. You know: put the balls in a line, assemble the Tetris blocks, tidy up and be nice.

They are TEACHING you to be a good CITIZEN, man!

Ahem. Anyway, Bulldozer Inc. offers something a bit different. Here you drive a big bulldozer about, knocking down whatever you can get your bucket thing in contact with.

The faster you take stuff out – aided by bonus items such as dynamite boxes and combustible gas tanks – the more money you get. Fred Dibnah is doubtless exploding in his grave*.

There are also two extra excavators to unearth as you progress through the levels, and a random map generator promises infinite replayability (although with the best will in the world, we think you might get a teensy weensy bit bored before the End of Time comes around).

"For us it was important to emphasize the action-loaded gameplay with a Heavy Metal soundtrack," added Markus Kassulke, CEO of HandyGames. And who would argue with him?

Dig it? Bulldozer Inc. is out on 12th September.

* Fred Dibnah was a doughty Lancastrian who became famous for blowing up chimney stacks and so forth. Rest in Peace, Fred.
