Sega has announced that it's bringing arcade title Brick People to the iPhone and iPad this autumn.

The popular arcade game – which offers a blend of physical and digital gameplay – sees you helping a race of aliens reach an assortment of tasty treats by building unique brick structures for them to climb.

Along the way you'll have to watch out for the dreaded Brick Monster, who demands that you complete specific buildings in order to carry on playing.

As you can probably already imagine, the iOS offering of the game will abandon the physical elements of the title, meaning you'll be dragging, dropping, and stacking bricks with your device's touchscreen.

Not so friendly

Brick People will allow you to compete on one device, or over wi-fi in head-to-head matches with your bestest buddies.

You can also climb Game Center leaderboards and tweet your tallest towers.

Brick People is on course for an autumn release so check out our gallery (above) while you wait.
