Happy Monday, one and all. As I'm sure you've copped on by now Mondays are a joyful time filled with coffee, distant thoughts of the coming weekend, and sales. Lots of glorious, shiny sales.

After all, when money's a bit tight and you see a game you've not had the chance to play yet at a fraction of the cost, it's madness not to pick something up.

Whether you're after an epic tower defence game, a curious point and click puzzler, an unmissable shooter, or more, take a look to see if something catches your fancy.

Crescent Moon games

  • Platform: Android
  • Price: F2P

If you're in the market for some new, or old, Crescent Moon titles, there are a couple going for cheap right now over on Android: Evertales and Pocket RPG.

Pocket RPG is a twin-stick dungeon crawler where you can choose between three distinct classes to suit your personal play-style. Grab it here on Google Play.

Evertales is another RPG with three unique (and unlikely) heroes to play with, plenty of weapons to choose from, and lots of big bosses to go up against. Grab it here on Google Play.

Data Defence

Set in the mysterious realm of cyberspace, Data Defence is a beautifully minimal tower defence game in which you need to protect servers from becoming infected with glitches. No, not the Wreck it Ralph-kind.

You'll need to use each of the servers' layouts to your advantage, install defence programs, and defend the server in the fastest time you possibly can.

4
Farming PRO 2016

If you've ever wanted to get behind that trac'er and harvest your hand-sewn crops, now's a great time to do it.

Harvest fields, raise animals, and keep an eye on your land as it thrives under your care. Expand and grow more by buying up more fields, discover new areas, and sell your products at the best market price. You can even tag in a few pals to help you out.

5
ICEY

  • Platform: iOS/Android
  • Price: £1.99/$1.99 or cheaper

Whether you're in the mood for a 2D side-scrolling action game or just looking for something fun to play, you'll want to pick up ICEY at this price.

Learn the truth about ICEY and her world through her eyes and enjoy the accompanying tone of the narrator. In this game you're allowed to question the game's instructions and you're encouraged to fight back against tyranny as you see fit.

6
Isoland 2

We covered this point and click adventure game in a recent App Army Assemble, and it was worth its price at full let alone at a measly 99p.

Enjoy this artistic adventure game and embark on a fascinating journey through time and space, discovering all sorts of mysterious machinery, forgotten secrets, and a lost civilisation, too. Don't expect the game to hold your hand though.

JYDGE

  • Platform: Android (also on iOS)
  • Price: £2.19/$2.49

Build your own JYDGE to enforce the law in the crime-ridden city of Edenbyrg. Whatever your play-style preference, you can adapt your JYDGE to suit your needs, and then go to town on the bad guys in this top-down shooter.

We gave it a Silver Award in its review, saying: "Jydge is a great, difficult, nice looking cyber punk shooter that fits into nicely mobile-sized bursts. It's so much fun I can just about forgive the fact that it's called Jydge."

I mean, at this price it's just a steal.

8
The Minims - A New Beginning

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: 99p/99c

This 3D point and click puzzler is a couple of years old now, but there's still a lot to love in this quirky adventure game.

Enjoy its cartoony artwork, its laid-back pace, its minimalist scenery, and more as you go on the hunt for missing Mo. Join Mii on a journey to save his love as he considers plenty of life choices and his own personal values.

While there's a story to enjoy, this won't be one for players who prefer fast-paced adventures.
