Phantoom scatters plant 'em up Bloomies onto App Store
Bloomin’ marvellous

German developer Phantoom Entertainment has just released its own single player twist on the FarmVille phenomenon, ditching farming for some good, honest gardening.
Players can plant and tend 10 Bloomy flowers in their garden. Friendly bees buzz by the flora and fauna, collecting nectar and increasing your gold reserves in the process.
Upgrades come in the form of ten different bees, five hives and 24 decorations and since the game is integrated with the OpenFeint network, achievements and rewards can be easily tracked.
Progress can also be shared with friends via Facebook and Twitter.
Sunny side up
The bright, simple graphics allied to straightforward on-screen controls make the game accessible to players of all ages.
“With Bloomies, we set out to create a visually stunning gardening game that anyone could enjoy," said Phantoom co-founder, Andreas Wolff.
“Though it starts off unassumingly, players will soon be happily tending their garden every day, unlocking new items and arranging plant life to their liking. It’s a great way to relax and everyone from kids to the older casual player are going to love it.”
Download Bloomies today on the App Store for 99c / 59p / €0.79.
