Developer Morteshka and publisher HypeTrain Digital have officially announced the iOS launch date for Black Book, a tactical card-based RPG steeped in Slavic mythology. Coming to iOS on April 21st, the game offers the prologue and endless mode free of charge, with a full unlock that will set you back by $9.99 or your local equivalent.

Now open for pre-orders, Black Book thrusts players into the dark tale of Vasilisa, a young sorceress on a quest to revive a lost loved one. She then turns to the power of the Black Book, and must battle malevolent forces and fearsome myths along the way.

Featuring gorgeous visuals and a distinct art style, the game offers plenty of riddles for players to solve along with side-quests that reveal more secrets about the Slavic countryside. The in-game encyclopedia was crafted by expert anthropologists; plus, the game boasts plenty of accolades under its belt, with more than 3,700 "Very Positive" reviews on Steam.
