Charles Games has officially launched Beecarbonize on iOS and Android, letting players dive into a unique card strategy game that tasks them with battling carbon emissions. The charming title offers roguelike elements as well, along with plenty of cards they can tinker around with to protect the environment.

In Beecarbonize, you can look forward to researching different technologies and enacting policies to make sure that carbon emissions are kept to a minimum. There are 120 cards to discover across four sectors (society, industry, science and nature preservation), as you learn more about climate change in an entertaining way.

The game also features unexpected disasters you'll encounter along the way, such as fearsome Acidic Oceans that adversely affect the biodiversity of marine life. As such, every decision you make will dictate how the world is formed - for instance, carbon emissions will cause floods and heat waves, while nuclear power investments may lead to a nuclear incident further down the road. You'll have to gain more knowledge with each new run and attempt to save the planet in different ways.
