A new platformer from the creator of Dadish

Be Brave, Barb is an upcoming platformer that encourages you to battle against what literally and figuratively brings you down
  • Gravity-based platforming problems
  • Questionable therapist advise
  • Adorable quest to boost your self-confidence

Thomas K. Young has announced a brand-new mobile adventure, and oh my goodness, it's a beautiful, beautiful day. In particular, cactus-themed platformer Be Brave, Barb will be leaping onto iOS, Android, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch on March 12th, and it's everything I imagine the creator of Dadish would craft next.

In Be Brave, Barb, you'll not only have to deal with the actual force of gravity, but you'll also have to grapple with your own inner insecurities - talk about things that literally and figuratively bring you down. As you might have guessed from the title, this life-affirming little platformer is all about valuing your self-worth, and as you platform through a hundred different levels, you'll help Barb regain her lost self-confidence with a daily positive boost.

There are, of course, epic bosses that'll rain on your parade, along with a questionable therapist who seems to be suggesting that underthinking is the solution to overthinking. Now, I wouldn't say I'd trust that kind of therapist to deal with my self-doubt, but if it helps take King Cloudy and his henchmen down, then I'm all for it.
