Out at midnight: Battle Slimes turns your friends into blobs for some harmless, slimy fun

Falling out with the people we care about the most is sometimes only resolved with a little fight. But, rather than raising your voice or your fists, why not turn your loved ones into blobs so you can stomp on them?

That's what Battle Slimes lets you do in its local multiplayer madness.

It has single player modes so you can fight against the computer when needed. But the main draw of Battle Slimes seems to be its local multiplayer.

You can play with up to three other competitors in the single-screen battles. You each control a blob with a single button in the corner of the screen that jumps and shoots.

All you have to do to win each match is stomp on or shoot the other blobs the most number of times.

There are four power-ups to collect to tilt the odds in your favor. As well as four different arenas to vary up the setting, and two match modes to try out: timed and limited lives.

So, if you have a quarrel that needs settling, or just want to have some chaotic and accessible fun, you might consider picking up Battle Slimes.
