Two years after its Kickstarter, Battle Chasers: Nightwar will be arriving on Nintendo Switch and other platforms soon, introducing an isometric/turn-based hybrid adventure through a unique fantasy world.

Based on a comic series from the late 90s (whose creator went on to help make the Darksiders series), Battle Chasers is set in a world of magic and medieval technology, of war golems and magic swords; exploring outward from the town of Harm's Way you explore surrounding isometric ruins and dungeons in real time, switching characters to use their abilities to overcome traps and puzzles.

Encounter enemies, and Battle Chasers switches to JRPG-inspired turn-based battles. Each party member brings unique perks and skills to combat, letting you devise powerful strategies against the monsters and soldiers that roam the land.

Animated cutscenes, crafting, and a non-linear story complements the exploration and battles, as you discover lore about the world and its characters.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar will cost $29.99 when it releases on Steam and other platforms on October 3rd, while Nintendo Switch version is slated to release on a "slightly later" date.
