BanG Dream! Girls Band Party teams up with the action-packed Tokyo Revengers anime series to bring new limited units and other in-game events

Popular anime gacha-based mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party is teaming up with the beloved anime/manga series Tokyo Revengers for some crossover content. This content includes new missions, new Members on banners to roll for, some celebratory events, and of course, two new songs to play as well.

BanG Dream is, at its core, a game not too unlike Love Live! or the more recent Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage. You’ve got a collection of characters you get to watch interact with one another in a plot that includes the highs and lows of high school life among other things, and in between those scenes, you pick and choose songs to play and aim for a high score on all of them.

As for Tokyo Revengers, it’s a semi-popular anime or manga series that involves a time-travelling protagonist who gets caught up in a gang war among Japanese high school students, all in service of saving all of his friends and his lover.

And with the crossover between the two, you can now experience the opening and ending song of the Tokyo Revengers anime series as a playable song within BanG Dream. Alongside the new songs, you can also roll on the new banner for variants of Rei, Chiyu, and Reona, each themed after the three main characters of Tokyo Revengers.

Then, we’ve got event-limited missions which are simple challenges for you to complete, which will reward cosmetic rewards for your Meeting Spot and most importantly will also reward you with the other two new character variants which are for Masuki and Rokka.

Finally, there are also some log-in event rewards going on from now to the 11th that will award you lots of in-game currency and other smaller items all just for logging in!

So, whether you're a fan of BanG Dream itself or a fan of Tokyo Revengers, this is the perfect event for you! Give it a go yourself for free at either of the links below!
