Badland adds Halloween theme and goes on sale for 75% off

It's been a little over a month since the atmospheric puzzler Badland received its last update, and Frogmind's decided that's long enough to keep fans waiting.
As such, it's released a spooky new Halloween update to the cirtically-acclaimed game and dropped the price from $3.99 / £2.99 to 99c / 69p.
In the update, players will receive a special Halloween theme in addition to all-new multilplayer level and four new multiplayer characters.
It's not quite as beefy as the last update Badland received, but an update light in content is leagues better than receiving no update at all.
As always, this update comes in at the just-right price of "free" and the price drop presents a great opportunity to check out the artistic puzzler if you haven't downloaded it already.
In our review, we noted that "Badland is a stunning-looking game" but also felt that the mechanics were "a little too shallow" to make it an instant classic.
Still, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better game to show off your device's retina display. So if you're in the mood to guide some flying pumpkins through gorgeous vistas this weekend - and who isn't? - you may want to check this one out.
