Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider is a fast-paced upcoming arcade science lesson for iOS and Android
Science is cool
Forthcoming iOS and Android game Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider is basically what would happen if scientists made a pacifist version of classic colour-swapping shooter Ikaruga.
In this game, you'll hurl elements through charged plasma beams, swapping between positive and negative energy with a tap on the screen to make sure you don't crash into the wrong colour stream and lose your energy.
Electrons float about the screen, too. And if you grab enough of them, you'll be able to blast out a charge to help you out of a tough situation.
There will be 118 atoms to charge up with energy. Should you manage to charge 'em all, you'll unlock a secret element that you can name yourself. Which is pretty exciting.
Playing this game is a lovely experience. There's a twitchy desperation to proceedings here that'll keep most players entertained for a good long while.
Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider should be out on January 22nd. The first chunk of the game will be free. If you like what you play, you'll be able to grab the rest for £1.49 / $1.99.
