Asphalt 4: Elite Racing HD takes home a gong

Gameloft Korea scoops GSMA Asia award

Congratulations to Gameloft's Korean studio, which won the prize for Best Mobile Game at today's GSMA Asia Mobile Awards 2008 in Macau.

The award went to Asphalt 4: Elite Racing HD, beating off stiff competition from ZIO Interactive's Sketcher 2, Capcom's Biohazard 4 Mobile Edition, and Simlife Science & Technology's Lament Island.

All four games were developed in the region. The awards were part of the mobile trade body the GSMA's Mobile Asia Congress conference.

The awards - which also included gongs for mobile music, advertising, enterprise services, mobile money services and mobile broadband products - were judged by a panel of analysts, journalists and other industry figures.
