Jam City has announced that they have teamed up with Freemantle for a collaboration that brings The Price is Right to Cookie Jam, their popular match-3 game. The team-up starts today and offers players the chance to drop chips down the famous Plinko board to earn in-game prizes daily.

The Price is Right is currently celebrating its 50th season. That's quite the milestone, so it probably won't surprise you to hear that the show is the longest-running game programme in TV history. If you have never caught an episode, it sees contestants guessing the price of everyday retail products to win prizes. It is a simple concept, but all the best ideas for game shows are, and that's undoubtedly why the show has remained popular over the decades.

The collaboration with Jam City will, as mention, feature the iconic Plink board alongside sound effects from the show and host Drew Carey. Players who find themselves on a winning streak can complete a Cookie Jam level to obtain chips to drop onto the Plink Board.

Discussing the latest partnership, Sam Notowitz, Vice President of Business Development for Jam City said: “Jam City’s partnership with Fremantle brings one of the greatest and most enduring game shows of all time from the television screen to our player’s hands to enjoy anytime.”

They added: “Featuring new and fresh challenges and events, The Price is Right can now be played by an entirely new generation excited to earn delicious rewards by simply matching three.”

Cookie Jam is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
