The fan-favourite RPG with over 80 million downloads, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is receiving a huge update today. A while ago, the game introduced a new feature called Clubs. It served as a practice area, allowing players to refine their skills. The Sphinx club dealt with academics, Dragon with adventure, and Hippogriff with nature and nurturing. Completing club quests rewarded players with Club XP that would help increase proficiency in that club. The greater the knowledge and ability, the better the rewards. A Club Room was also set up, which allowed players to hang out together and even customize this room as XP was gained.
Building on this is Jam City’s new feature for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery – A Secret Customizable Room. Hidden from everyone else, players can now access this Secret Room. As the name suggests, it can be customised to the player’s liking with a myriad of decorations and pieces of furniture. There are also new events and challenges available that will reward players with exclusive décor items.
This month also sees Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery celebrating the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter movie. A featurette called London Zoo is available to watch and it gives some fun facts and trivia about Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, while also comparing the progression of animals from that movie to the current game.
Players will also be able to explore the corners of Diagon Alley and the First Sight of Hogwarts through an interactive social carousel series featuring the one and only, Hagrid!
