Call of Duty is ready to roll out its fourth season, Spurned and Burned, which will introduce a Wild West theme to the popular shooter. The new season will arrive in-game on May 26th at 5 p.m. PT and will bring various additions and improvements.

Once the new season arrives, players will be able to use two brand new weapons, the Holger 26 along with its Mythic version and the MK2 marksman rifle. The 1v1 mode is also getting enhanced and will be good for news for fans of this game variant.

Clan Wars will now increase the competitiveness of the game as in this new season it asks you to capture nodes to see your name featured on the leaderboards. Each week you can compete against five other clans and net clan currency as a reward for emerging victorious. This can then be exchanged in the store later on.

The improved version of 1v1 Duel will be available for a limited period of time along with Capture the Gold mode where the players need to collect gold instead of focusing on kills. Elsewhere, the Marquee Event, High Noon Chase, will begin on June 11th.

Season 4 will introduce a lot of changes to weapon attributes. Guns like NA-45, QXR, HBRa3 and Man-O-War have been adjusted as they received negative feedback from players.

Finally, the game had launched a Multiplayer mode on May 20th that gives you the power to become Rambo or John McClane along with two new bundles to celebrate the 80s Action Heroes from Rambo and Die Hard. In case you have missed it, you can read Olly's recent article covering the news.
