Whitepot Studios has released a new content update for its constellation puzzler StarGazing, bringing in new constellations to find as well as other improvements. The update is available now on iOS and Android.

The new ‘Antiquities Pack’ for StarGazing now introduces new puzzles to the game, bringing the StarBook’s total number to 90 constellations. These are based on classic symbols and images, with some of the new ones including the likes of Andromeda, Hercules, and even your very own Teapot.

This update also brings a new way to share your scores. Once you complete a constellation, you can tap the new camera icon to create and share your own StarGazing image to get a closer look at the hints and stars.

If you’re interested in the development behind StarGazing, Whitepot Studios also recently debuted a podcast dedicated to game development with the first episode centred around how the Ireland-based studio created StarGazing. The podcast features Whitepot developers Vicky Potts, Adam Whiteside, Matt McDyre, Robbie McKinney, and Amy Seaman. You can listen to it here.

If you’re unaware of what exactly StarGazing is, it’s a puzzle game centred around finding constellations using a dot-to-dot style with the help of some hand-drawn hints. While it’s a zen-like experience, the game also has a friendly competitive element to it in the form of leaderboards that you can climb based on the time you spend completing each puzzle.

You can download StarGazing now from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store, where it is a free to play game with adverts and in-app purchases.
