LoL: Wild Rift Kai'Sa Champion Guide: Best build, items, and everything you need to know
Updated: July 27, 2021

So you want to play the Marksman role but you find that super safe playstyle a little bit boring? Well, how about a Marksman that can dive the enemy backline, still fire super long-range beams, evolve her weapons and go invisible?

If all the above sounds fun, then chances are Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void is just the right champion for you.

But before you dive right in, I need to tell you that in Wild Rift Kai'Sa is much more than a marksman-assassin type of champion. She's actually more like a one-man machine gun that can really melt through any champion in the end game, as long as she has a couple of kills and items.

In this League of Legends: Wild Rift Kai'Sa guide you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from her skills and how to allocate them to her build, skill combo, and runes. This is what you will find in the Kai'Sa guide below:

League of Legends: Wild Rift Kai'Sa skills

Second Skin (Passive)

Kai'Sa's basic attacks stack Plasma, dealing increasing bonus magic damage. Allies' immobilizing effects help stack Plasma. Additionally, Kai'Sa's item purchases upgrade her basic spells to have more powerful properties.

Icathian Rain (Skill 1)

Kai'Sa shoots a swarm of missiles that seek out nearby targets. Living Weapon: Icathian Rain is upgraded to shoot more missiles.

Void Seeker (Skill 2)

Kai'Sa shoots a long range missile, revealing and marking enemies with her passive. Living Weapon: Void Seeker is upgraded to apply more Plasma marks and reduce cooldown on champion hit.

Supercharge (Skill 3)

Kai'Sa briefly increases her movement speed, then increases her attack speed. Living Weapon: Supercharge is upgraded to briefly grant Invisibility.

Killer Instinct (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Kai'Sa dashes near an enemy champion marked by Plasma and gains a temporary shield.

Wild Rift Kai'Sa - How to combo

She doesn't really have a standard skill rotation or combo, and the most important aspect of her gameplay is to know your damage.

You need to keep track of the marks spawned around your target every time you auto-attack because that's where most of her insane damage comes from. On the 5th attack, these marks will detonate and deal damage based on the missing health of the enemy. Depending on the damage you do, you will decide if you are going to engage or not.

Other than keeping track of her damage output, her kit is pretty straight forward, really.

As an example, you can use your Skill 2 from a really long distance on a squishy target. Then, use Skill 4 to teleport behind them and give yourself a shield. Hit your basic attacks and your Skill 1 on the targets, use Skill 3 to go invisible, and try to either escape or reposition to continue the fight if the enemy's not dead.

So, what does that all mean? The lower an enemy's HP is, the more damage Kai'Sa will do

In what order to level up the skills?

For Kai'Sa, you want to max out Skill 1 first, since that's the AoE damage, then skill 3, and lastly Skill 2.

Level 1: Skill 1
Level 2: Skill 2
Level 3: Skill 3
Level 4: Skill 1
Level 5: Skill 4
Level 6: Skill 1
Level 7: Skill 1

Keep leveling Skill 1 until it's maxed, then focus on Skill 3, and lastly on Skill 2. Of course, whenever you can, you want to add 1 point into your Skill 4 (ultimate).

Wild Rift Kai'Sa - The best summoner spells

Heal: Restores 80-360 Health and grants 30% bonus Movement Speed for 1 second to you and the most wounded nearby ally champion. Healing is halved for champions recently affected by Heal.

Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or towards the aimed direction.

If the enemy has some really powerful tanks, you could replace Guardian Angel with Mortal Reminder for some armor penetration.

Boots:  Gluttonous Stasis is the boot you want in case the enemy has a lot of all-ins or assassins like Zed or Akali, who can one-shot squishy marksmen like Kai'Sa. Gluttonous Quicksilver is the usual choice since it helps you dispel any kind of crowd control.
