Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition hits iOS & Android on August 20th

Spike Chunsoft has announced that Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition is heading straight for iOS and Android on August 20th. The news was first shared by Famitsu (via Gematsu).

This follows the release of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition back in May, which offered a bump in resolution, improved touchscreen controls, and even some in-game galleries to peruse.

It was a solid port, all told, though it did come with a very premium price tag. That said, you can currently grab it for $10.99, which isn't bad at all. Still, I'd probably recommend holding off if you plan to play the full trilogy, as I imagine we'll eventually see some sort of discounted bundle once they've all arrived.

It's well worth a shot if you're in the market for something thrilling strange and eccentric, with a heap of memorable characters and moments to enjoy throughout. And those not feeling especially patient could instead grab Goodbye Despair now from Steam. Here's to hoping that the original trilogy also eventually finds its way to Switch.
